Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is Community Gifting Legal?

A. Yes, it is 100% legal, and the United States Gifting Rules can be found in the IRS Tax Code, Title 26, Sections 2501- 2504, and 2511. We have the Preamble, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights to protect a private citizen’s right to earn, pay taxes and give away property and cash as long it is done according to the laws and codes of this country.
The concept has been around for over 300 years and practiced by many different cultures to assist with starting businesses, buying homes, paying for education, and creating massive savings for families. Different Government groups, Civic Groups, and Churches participate in community gifting as well.

Q. Is this a business or a business opportunity?

A. No, Gifting Circles are not businesses or commercial ventures. There are no investments or securities involved, nor is there any network or multilevel marketing. They are voluntary, private sharing communities where gifts are given directly to one another.

Q. Are Gifting Circles a pyramid?

A. No, they are not pyramids. A pyramid is when people are stacked on top of each other, and the people at the top, receive their money from the people on the bottom. Gifting circles are constantly in motion, and members take turns giving and receiving the exact same amount in gifts. There is no hierarchy of individuals and no unfair advantage over new participants.

Q. Why do Gifting Circles require you to share the opportunity with two people?

A. If you’re reading this right now, then that means that someone has shared the opportunity with you. So why not pay it forward? Although many people are looking to join Gifting Circles every day, they work best when you’re giving and receiving gifts with people that you know, love, and trust. It’s more fun and it builds for a stronger community!

Q. Who do I send my gift to when joining?

A. You will GIVE your gift, directly to the community member whose turn it is to RECEIVE their gift. As stated above, this is not a business, so all members govern themselves and gift each other directly. You will receive instructions from the person that invited you into the Gifting Circle, on exactly WHO and HOW to pay.

Q. What Happens if I want to leave the community?

A. If you have reached your financial goals, and no longer wish to receive any more gifts, then just kindly notify the person that invited you and a replacement will be found for your spot.
